Students – I like your idea. You can give instructions on how to use the Finder and below highlight the HCEF funds. Right now I am leaning towards excluding non-HCEF funds as a way to get more to align with you, but… perhaps you could create a different section below HCEF with the other funds. Most of those have the same application process as the HCEF ones, with the exception of Juliee Hazel (paper copy in the counseling offices).
Below that instead of “Applications” you could put something like Summer Camp Scholarships (not yet through HCEF) or, as we call them, Special Assistance Scholarships, that has links to cultural enrichment scholarships, and anything else that doesn’t fall under the “traditional” scholarship category. There are a couple of resources in the community that students can apply to for summer camp, etc.
